Horizons: Charles Baughman and Troy Becker

April 1 – April 30
Mark Arts is pleased to present Horizons, a two-person exhibition featuring new paintings and ceramics by Charles Baughman and Troy Becker. Though different in their stylistic approach, both artists explore the emotional potential of landscape through contrasting visions of natural environments. Baughman and Becker were the champions in their respective disciplines at the 2021 Versus: A Live Art Battle at Mark Arts.

Please join us at an Opening Reception on Friday, April 1 to celebrate the Horizons exhibition and honor Mark Arts’ 2021 Volunteers of the Year, Dara Geoffroy and Stinson. Dara Geoffroy has served on Mark Arts’ Board of Directors since 2018. In 2021, Dara co-chaired a capital campaign to expand Mark Arts’ thriving culinary studio and currently serves as co-chair for the 2022 Cosmos New Year’s Eve celebration. As Mark Arts’ Resource Development Chair, Dara implemented an annual giving framework to attract new supporters and deepen donors’ engagement with Mark Arts mission.

Stinson has been an integral partner for Mark Arts as the organization has grown in programming, operations, and complexity. Stinson’s guidance has been essential throughout the pandemic and positioned Mark Arts to resume operations as safely and quickly as possible. Stinson remains a steadfast partner, advising Mark Arts on a variety of topics.

The reception takes place from 5:30-7:30 p.m., with remarks at 6:30 p.m. Complimentary light hors d’oeuvres and host bar will be provided.
