In this introductory workshop, you will learn how to design the perfect invitations for any occasion or event. We will use Adobe Illustrator to build print-ready designs sure to stand out from boring templates! Please bring a  sketch of what you would like your invitation to say and ideas of other invitations that have inspired you.

Learn the fundamentals of vector building and digitizing illustrations in Adobe Illustrator and create print-ready designs for t-shirts or stickers.


Logo Workshop

Design your own personal logo and learn how to build it digitally in Adobe Illustrator in this introductory workshop. Please bring a sketch of what you would like your logo to say or show and ideas of other logos that have inspired you.



YouTube for Beginners Workshop

Ages 13 + | June 20 – 22, 1 – 4 p.m. | Instructor: Darren Couch | $85 / Members $76.50.

Explore the art of digital film-making by shooting and editing your own unique video. During this workshop students will learn how to film, edit and optimize their YouTube content. Topics include learning how to set up a new YouTube channel from scratch, choose the right channel name, create YouTube channel art and profile picture, optimize the channel and every video in the correct way, choose the best keywords, titles and tags, easily film, edit and upload videos, choose a camera & microphone that is right for you, light a video properly and create professional videos, present videos, know how to keep people watching your videos, create content for videos easily, create thumbnails that people will click on, put music in a video and use the YouTube editor and Adobe Premiere Pro to edit the videos.

3-D Clay, Modeling and Printing Workshop

Ages 11 + | June 25 – 28, 1 – 4 p.m. with optional off-site meet-up at GoCreate | Instructor: Darren Couch and Staff | $120 / Members $108.

This workshop will start out with covering the basics of 3-D printing, giving you the information you need to get started in this exciting new technology—no personal printer required. We will cover information on the tools, software, and services that make up the 3-D printing ecosystem and use an easy-to-learn application to customize a 3-D printed product. Then students will head over to the ceramics and sculpture studios to learn about modeling in clay and cover the basics of one of the original 3-D mediums.

Adobe Character Animator Workshop

Create and Bring your own Characters to Life! This workshop provides an introduction to computer animation using Adobe’s powerful Character Animator software and Photoshop.  Participants learn to create their own custom characters, rig and animate them to create amazing stories.  Then you can use your skills to create explainer video animations, short films and cartoons, commercials, creative live interactive characters, motion comics, realistic 2D character animations for social media.

Intro to Graphic Design - Tasha Jo Wentling

Introduction to Graphic Design: Illustrator & Photoshop (10-weeks)

Ages 13+ | Saturdays listed, 3 – 5 p.m. This class runs July 14 – Sept. 22 with no class on Aug. 4 | Instructor: Tasha Wentling | $145.

This introductory design course will cover how to build simple vector graphics in Adobe Illustrator and explore basic photo editing and manipulation in Adobe Photoshop. Utilizing the elements of design, students will create a themed booklet that showcases the skills learned throughout this course.

Beginning Photography for Moms and Dads: 10-weeks

Ages 16 + | Wednesdays, 6 – 8 p.m. | Instructor: Adrienne Kantukule | $180/ Members $162. No class on July 4.

How do you capture a moment in time? How do you document the daily happenings between your professional photography sessions? This course will teach basic photography including: the best camera gear, exposure, camera settings, lighting and composition for a mom/dad wanting to make sure all of life’s moments can be documented so that they may live forever. Required: DSLR camera, or any digital camera that has Manual Mode.


Introduction to Digital Painting with Tablets: 10-weeks

Ages 13+ | Saturdays, 9:30 – 11 a.m. | Instructor: Bevin Akers | $145 / Members $130.50.

This class will focus on getting familiar with your tablet, using Photoshop to paint with digital media, along with a focus on value painting and color. A basic understanding of drawing, using tablets, computers and Photoshop is needed. Please bring your drawing tablet as they will not be provided for this course. Photoshop and computer access will be included in this class.
