Jennifer Walterscheid 1

Enameling with Karin Cernik and Jennifer Walterscheid

Alchemy: the transformation of something to something more precious.

Enameling: the transformation of simple glass and metal to a piece of jewelry or decoration.

Join us to learn how two very different substances can be combined to make beautiful pieces of jewelry, dishes, wall decor and more as we engage in the centuries old art of enameling.  Through the use of powdered glass, copper, silver, and the heat of a kiln, we transform plain metal into brightly colored artwork.  No experience is required, as the art form allows beauty to be created at many different levels; for those with previous experience we will help you stretch your boundaries and learn new techniques.
