Celebrate Black History Month with free family fun at Mark Arts featuring the Griots Storytelling Institute. Griots are traveling poets, musicians and storytellers who maintain the oral history tradition in parts of West Africa.

Participate in an interactive storytelling session and a drum circle. Make your own African mask, and help complete lion mask as a community art project. You can also peruse a selection of Black History Month books courtesy of the Wichita Public Library.
