Weekly Drawing Courses

Drawing 101

This class will introduce students to basic concepts of drawing while having fun. There will be four different drawing units in this class: value, contour outline drawing and negative space, in addition to an experimental section.  Each unit will be taught with the purpose of furthering student skills in not only drawing, but in seeing and understanding what they are looking at and how to best put that to paper through the art of drawing.  By the end of my class Tim does not want to hear any of the students say, “all I can draw is a stick figure.”
