ART OF CLAY:

 WICHITA NATIONAL EXHIBITION

Mark Arts invites all North American artists to apply for the Art of Clay: Wichita National Exhibition, April 5 – June 29, 2019. 

The exhibition is open to all artists living and working in North America. Work must be ready to exhibit, created in the past two years, and not previously exhibited in a Mark Arts exhibition. Each entry must be wholly designed and executed by the artist. All artwork must be display ready with display hardware included (if needed). All works must be for sale.

The jurors are Marko Fields and Diego Valles.  Fields founded, designed, constructed and is the primary owner of Mojo Coffee Gallery in Minneapolis. Fields is widely exhibited, collected and published. Valles is a master potter from Mata Ortiz, Chihuahua, Mexico, who was recognized as the Premier Visual Artist of Mexico (Under 31 category) in 2010. He is internationally collected, exhibited and published; his work is in numerous public museums and private collections.

Cash awards of $3,000 will be given, and patron purchase awards are also anticipated. Online submission deadline is 11:59 p.m. on March 1, 2019.
